Jurassic Charters Of Looe

Anglers Fishing Guide

Ride the Raptor! - Looe, Cornwall. Join us for a trip to distant wrecks to catch cod, pollack, ling and congers. Drift the inshore banks for turbot, brill, bass and plaice. Enjoy hard running tope, rays, darting bream and much, much more.
We encourage catch and release but also have facilities to keep fish for the table in prime condition. Or just enjoy a exhilurating days shark fishing for blues an porbeagle! ‘Raptor’ is a GRP pro charter built to fully comply with all required UK safety standards.
She was purpose built in 2007 for charter angling and is 35 feet long by 10 feet in beam. There is an enormous 126 square feet of deck space and 76 feet of gunnel length which means that we can take up to 10 but for comfort 7 for wreck & reef fishing or 6 for shark fishing

Raptor heads out from Looe. What a start to the summer first the rain and then a mini heatwave! Despite all the weather has to throw at us the big news in Looe is that the Raptor from Jurassic Charters is now operatinig in Looe. This fantastic 35ft custom built Pro Charter boat is now ready for hire for fishing trips including shark trips.

If you love fishing then call or email us now and book your place on the Raptor this season. Find all our details on the contact page. Basking sharks appear! That magnificent creature the basking shark has made its appearance off the Cornish coast once again this year.

On a recent trip our skipper Terry Morris and his passengers spotted the huge animals just off the Eddistone lighthouse and managed to get a snap of it a matter of only a few feet away from the boat. Check our Gallery for more images of these and other aquatic animals including dolphins.
